did any of you guys have pioneer day in elementary school? a day where everyone dresses up like pioneer people and you’re organized into wagon parties and you do pioneer stuff all day?
anyway what i’m trying to say is that i want to have that again. i feel like dressing up like a pioneer woman. long dress and apron and leather boots and bonnet. the whole shebang.
We had “multicultural day” where everyone dresses up like the culture they ‘came from’ and white people on the dance team perform a choreographed salsa dance
Yeah, I went to school in California. We had regular square dancing lessons and I remember an assembly where a guy spent 15 minutes cracking various things with a bullwhip. I drew the line at eating lunch with the Donner Party though.
